We are a private real estate investment, property management and brokerage firm.

Our company seeks to acquire commercial property (retail, industrial, office, multi-family, mixed-use) in the Midwest. Our focus is generally value-add property but we will look at anything that has decent fundamentals. Stabilized properties over a 9-cap are also desirable. We have been especially active over the past few quarters on acquiring land and finished residential lots in the southeast, providing off-balance sheet lot warehousing and A&D for subdivisions with up to 5-year takedowns.

We are currently seeking opportunities in the Midwest, specifically in the Madison, Columbus, Indianapolis, and Chicago markets. The company has extensive property management experience across all property types. We have been especially active working with lenders on receiverships and REO property. We also represent tenants and buyers (on a referral basis only) seeking to lease or purchase office, retail and industrial property.

Matthew Baumann, CCIM

Managing Director

Mr. Baumann has spent nearly 2 decades in commercial real estate.  He is responsible for sourcing acquisition opportunities and sponsoring deals, providing the necessary debt and equity to the assets Crosstown REA acquires. He also works exclusively with a client base of third-party Tenants and Buyers of real estate. 

 

Jonathan Janas

Jon has over 15 years of commercial real estate experience with extensive experience managing and leasing large commercial properties in the Chicagoland area. Currently specializing in working with financial institutions and the managing and disposition of their bank owned properties.

Jeff is responsible for managing aggressive construction schedules for multiple projects, initiating program development and project team, reviewing construction documents for accuracy, streamlining resolution of design conflicts, approving proposed schedules, controlling and monitoring costs for our assets. .
